Step 1.

Start Thunderbird and then select:

"Create a new account."

Step 2.

This opens the “Account Wizard” window.

Select "Email account".

To add a new account click on the "Add" button.

Click Next.

Step 3.

Here you need to enter your Display Name. This is the name which people will see when they receive a email from you.

Enter your full Drytel e-mail address.
username@drytel.net

Click Next.

Step 4.

Ensure that the Incoming e-mail server type is set to POP3.

Incoming Server:  mail.drytel.net

Click Next.

Step 5.

Enter your Drytel username and password here.

Do NOT enter "@drytel.net"

Click Next.

Step 6.

Enter a name for this account "Drytel".

Click Next.

You have now finished setting up your Drytel e-mail account.

Click Finish to save the settings.

You will then be prompted to enter your password.

Click "OK" to save the settings.

Finished.

You will notice that the account you just created is now in the Mail category window. You can close this window and check your e-mail now.
