Step 1.

Start Outlook 2000 and from the toolbar click Tools >> Accounts.

Step 2.

This opens the “Internet Accounts” window.

To add a new account click on the "Add" button and then select "Mail" from the popup.

Step 3.

This opens the “Internet Connection Wizard".

Here you need to enter your Display Name. This is the name which people will see when they receive a email from you.

Step 4.

Enter your full Drytel e-mail address.

username@drytel.net

Click Next.

Step 5.

Ensure that the Incoming e-mail server type is set to POP3.

Enter the Drytel Incoming and Outgoing mail server.

Incoming Mail:  mail.drytel.net

Outgoing Mail:  mail.drytel.net

Click Next.

Step 6.

Enter your Drytel username and password here.

Do NOT enter "@drytel.net"

Click Next.

If you have a dialup account you will be asked to select your dialup connection.

If you are on DSL or Wireless then select "Connect using my local area network (LAN)

Click Next.

You have now finished setting up your Drytel e-mail account.

Click Finish to save the settings.

You will notice that the account you just created is now in the Mail category window. You can close this window and check your e-mail now.
